Jenna Fischer has become best known as Pam Beesly, the character she played in The Office. For her part, Jenna was honored with two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy as well as an Emmy Award for the Best Supporting Actress.
Her birthplace and childhood was within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna was a spectator as her mother Anne took part in plays at church. Her love for performance and theater began when she was a teenager.
An actress trained in theater, Fischer returned to her roots after wrapping The Office. She played Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway production Reasons to be Happy. She's the author of The Actor's Life The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide (coauthored by Angela Kinsey) The book tells her story of moving from St. Louis to Hollywood as a professional actress is detailed.
